This code may generate a binary `save' file which is later read back into the package. This file (named COLSAV) is produced by driver3 and driver5 and used by driver4 and driver6 respectively. Since this file format is system dependent copies have not been included in the distribution.

Example drivers 5 and 6 both require the erf function. This is currently provided by CALGO Algorithm 715. Package also used algorithm 493.
