This program does not exactly reproduce the results as detailed in the supporting paper for the test example 1 given on page 439 of TOMS 6 (3).

The values given for ndb and ndefl do not agree with those in the table. Slight variations may be obtained by changing the tolerances pc1 and pc2.

There are also problems with the output of the transformation matrix.
